As Dean, I have the privilege of leading this vibrant school, a place where curiosity, lenity, and intellect nexus are offered to prepare our students to meet future challenges.The Social Science School of Khulna University is going through its transformation process since 1998 with the newest vision of becoming a notable the institution from Bangladesh through excellence in teaching, the leader in student experience and impactful research. Social Science School placed itself in the the forefront of this transformation process and is playing a significant leadership role in achieving Khulna University’s new mission of creating and sharing of knowledge, upholding human values, and promoting sustainable development. Four Disciplines namely- Economics, Sociology, Development Studies, and Mass Communication and Journalism offer knowledge and skill-based learning environment to the students. Over the last several years, Social Science School has been ramping up faculty and resources, transforming the school into one of the best places to study social science.
